About 6:30 am. I had to go to work an hour early that day. And it turned out to be lovely. Hello, hello! Long time no see, I know. Let's not dwell on that. Let's enjoy that for once in a century I have something worth sharing with the internet and here it is: I don't recall this ever happening to me before, but recently my nose has been very perceptive and it seems to affect my mood or appreciation of a certain place, a situation, etc. It might seem rather peculiar, but here is a list of interesting smells that caught my... er... nose... last month. Rabbits. A couple of hudreds pure-bred animals ranging from dwarfs to giants. Sometimes a slightly aggresive stench attacking your nostrils, but the fluffy bastards are so cute!  Sunlight . The early September heatwave. I love these late summer/early autumn warm days :) And the smell of long and dry grass, bushes and trees roasting in the constant, almost deadly, supply of sunrays. So, it's Novemeber. One is slowly grasping the fact that Christmas is inevitably getting closer and as the air grows cold, I end up remembering last year and a very spontaneuous trip to Nuremberg in Germany. Here's a little Throwback Sunday. The premise of the trip was simple: me doing a course to be a tourist guide + my sister being a teacher overseeing a school trip to Nuremberg and having a free spot on the bus. I thought it would be fun to spy on the guide who would be taking care of us and comparing if they are doing all the necessary things we were being taught at the course :) I will try to keep this short and picture friendly.

So, I finally got into a little bit of cardmaking again. It's been too long. But it always is, when I first need to clear my desk area to pull out all the paper crafty supplies. When I finally did, I wanted to make something autumny. My sister has asked me to make a get-well card for her friend and it took me a looooong time (my sister could tell you how long) to come up with a suitable idea. In the end, all it took were some buttons and white gel pen (that I gad to make a special trip for, because the one that I had decided to die on me. tragic loss.). How very lovely it is to see all those bright coloured leaves! If it was only for this, autumn would have to be my favourite time of the year. But there is more: sweaters and earthier tones in all the new fall/winter collections arriving to the shops and the slightly lazy sunshine which gets ever so precious every day we have it. One thing that I am not so fond of is the temperature drop. I don't like change very much. If I get used to a certain temperature range, it bothers me that it then changes and keeps jumping up and down and one has to keep both the light and the warmer clothing close at hand, ready to switch between according to the latest weather whim.  I decided to share with you some of the things that have been making me smile in the past couple of weeks.
